There's nothing more refreshing than an ice cold, sweet fruit smoothie. Packed with protein and antioxidants, this Keto Berry Smoothie is the perfect low carb breakfast or afternoon snack. You can also top it with a dollop of keto whipped cream to create a lush frozen dessert.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 8 oz. unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop keto friendly vanilla protein powder

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in to a blender and pulse for 10-20 seconds.
  • If desired, top with additional blueberries.
  • Serve cold.

Notes

  • If you don't want to use protein powder, add in 1.5 teaspoons of your favorite sugar-free sweetener and ½ teaspoon vanilla.
  • Add more or less ice to preference.
  • You can use frozen or fresh blueberries.
  • ½ cup of blueberries has approximately 40 calories, 10 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of fiber.
